This weekend was spent putting some finishing touches on Lukas' room. Papa and grandpa put up his ceiling fan/light on Saturday. Mama drove to Hanover, PA to pick-up some items that the Terlizzi's were handing down to him. Thanks Lauren for giving up your step stool, toy box, trash can and travel bag! Lukas' is really going to like them.
Mama also picked up the valance for his window and a few items for the trip. Sunday we put up the curtain rod and valance. Now we just have to put up the blinds that are suppose to arrive on Wednesday.
The other big event of the weekend was that our baby birds have evidently taken flight and left the nest. I went to check on them this morning and the nest was empty.
We finished the weekend by installing the child safety seat in mama's car. That was quite the interesting experience. Between the two of us, the car seat manual and the car manual we managed to get it installed good and snug.
Our visas for our final trip arrived in the mail on Saturday. I guess all we have left to do is pack for our LAST trip! Yeah!
