TRICK OR TREATING

It started raining right as the kids started trick or treating. We weren't going to let a little rain stop us though and it was on the warmer side tonight. We did quit a little early do to the rain but Lukas' bucket was getting heavy for him so it was a good thing we came back early.

What's that? This head had eyes that lit up, changed colors and it made moaning noises. Kind of looses its effect with the flash lighting things up. It was cooler in the dark.

Halloween Parade and Party at Goddard PreSchool

At Lukas' pre-school they have a parade every year for Halloween. The families are all invited to come see the parade and stay for the class parties afterwards. I was shocked at the number of family members who were there at 3pm in the afternoon! The school provided bags of candy for people to hand out to the kids as they came around. Being rookies, we did not know that the families were invited to bring treats to handout. Good thing the school provide for us rookies who evidently can't read fliers posted at the school. Lukas is the one with the hardhat and toolbelt. He wasn't sure what was going on when they first came out but as you can see he caught on pretty quick.

Sharing my food with Papa

Fall Festival at St. Paul's

Friday night we went to the Fall Festival at Aunt Debbie and Uncle David's church. They had all sorts of good food, a cake walk, raffles, games with prizes and a haunted hayride. Cousin Erik was running the Rockband station. Lukas thought it was more fun to try and ride the skate board.

Cousin Chris was a scary pumpkin head that gets his head cut off with a chain saw. He is somewhere in the middle of the photo buried under the straw. He jumped up out of the straw but I wasn't ready and missed my photo op.

He didn't want to wear his Kazakh vest and hat for the baptism but Rebecca got him to put it on back at the house during his brunch.
