Well the appeal period officially ended at the close of court business yesterday so our coordinator should be picking up the adoption decree today so she can obtain his new birth certificat and his Kaz passport.
Since we haven't heard to the contrary we are assuming there were no appeals. I still can't believe we leave a week from tomorrow to go get him and bring him home finally. I probably really won't believe it until we are driving out of the gate to Umit with him actually in the car!
We heard last night that the couple from Quebec were finally given their court dates and will be arriving back in Taraz the same day as us. So it looks like there will be quite a few of us in Taraz the end of this month. Christian and Natalie will be staying until Liam is able to go home, Kim will be their for the duration (doing it in 1 trip, whew!), Kara and her mom, and hopefully the Millers will arrive the week we are there for their bonding. It will be nice to actually meet the rest of these folks in person after sharing the journey via email and blogs.
