The day began with a round of laundry and dishes before heading to visit our little guy for the day. When we got to the music room someone had left several large stuffed animals in the middle of the room. We decided to leave them there and see what Anton would do. He came walking in the room carrying his hat, paused for a moment and then proceeded to pile them all up and climb on them. Some were bigger than he is.

Once we tired of that it was time to check out the big white bag and see what we could find. First thing out…wipes and Lysol. We have discovered that when he doesn’t get what he wants he throws whatever is handy or tears paper up. Today’s victim was the crayon box. Since it was nice out we decided to take him outside.

He wanted to walk towards the gate again today so we asked Zema if it was ok to walk around the building with him. He is quite intent on wanting to go outside the gate. We managed to get him to go around the corner instead. We came across a cat and a very sad looking small dog. We still aren’t sure about his take on the furry critters. He seems to want to chase them off, hit them or throw things at them. We’ll have to be very careful when we introduce him to his two furry friends at home.

Walking with Papa

Blowing dandelions

We have seen two 3 yr old groups. I don’t know if there are more or not. They both came out for their walk around the grounds while we were outside. The first group was not Anton’s group. The children waved or called out as they walked by.

We finished our play date out in front of the building. There was a Gazebo with a merry-go-round so we stopped for a snack and to play. There are several pine trees around the Gazebo. We played catch with them, t-ball, soccer and all sorts of other games. Play was interrupted when Anton’s group came by. I was holding Anton’s hand and one of the girls in his group came over and took my other hand. When Anton noticed what she was doing he took his free hand and tried to push her hand out of mine and said something to her. They love to interact with the visiting mamas and papas. Anton’s best bud, Sasha, is very shy. When you call out to him he turns his head and looks toward the ground. He seems to like the attention though. We were told he will be 4 years old tomorrow. He isn’t any bigger than Anton.

Anton’s group, Sasha is the one on the far left with the blue sweater. The guy in the grey sweater seems quite taken with Wayne. We think he is the one that came up to Wayne the first day and shook his hand.

Kissing mama

Playing with pinecones

We resumed our playing and Anton took off down the driveway towards the gate. Mama went running after him. The little bugger ran around the corner as I took chase and when I got there he was leaning up against the wall like he was hiding and broke out in hysterical laughter when I came around the corner and saw him.

Since we still have a slight language barrier, while playing instead of saying he needed to go potty he proceeded to start to pull his many layers of pants down outside. We quickly grabbed him up and told Zema he needed to go potty. She got him there in time.

Anton’s group came by again on there way inside for lunch. A couple of them decided they were going to stay with us. One little boy put his fingers together and pointed them at us like a gun. The other little child kept pushing his hands down. Wayne helped guide them back to the rest of their group and inside. Anton watched quite seriously like he wasn’t quite sure if he liked papa going off with the other children or not. He was happy when papa came back.

Here are some photos of the outside of the baby house and a shot of the surrounding neighborhood by the playground area.

That was our morning. Not sure what we will do this afternoon.

Paka,
Lynda and Wayne

  1. Dearest Lynda and Wayne...
We just got back from Bozman and wanted to fill you in on a few things. Your dogs are doing just fine, but clinging to mom as usual and she sleeps with them at night in your room, except last night when Michaella decide to stay with Chris in his room all night. David and Chris got the garden ground ready for mom to plant her plants, and she has purchased many different veggies for the garden already. Strawberries are blooming, blueberry bushes have blossoms. The crib has been outfitted with pooh bear bumper, sheets and comforter incase Anton wants to sleep in there with the side down... if not, it is ready for his cousin Abbey. We all love you lots, love seeing pictures of Anton with the two of you, and reading your posts. Ashley wants to be invited to your blog. Her email is baybblu10@yahoo.com. She also knows an Anton. She is excited to hear about whats happening. Your mom is on the phone with me now as I am typing and I filled her in on all the details. Too bad she can't see the pictures. WE all love you and will see you soon. Deb, Mom C., David, and the rest...
