We hope everyone had a happy Easter today! It was sunny yet very breezy and cool here in Baltimore. Well, 48 hours to go until we begin our long journey to Kaz. We are feeling somewhat relaxed at this point. Pretty much all we have left to do is pack. Of course we need to do laundry first so we have some clothes to pack.
We were a little disheartened to hear that one of the families traveling with us has been postponed for 2 weeks now. We hope and pray this will be the last road block for them and that we will see them at the end of the month. Please keep them in your prayers.
We dropped the dogs off at my parent's house Friday and spent sometime visiting with them before heading back home on Saturday. We also got to spend a little time with my brother Matthew and his family. I had to check out my new little niece, Abby, before heading abroad. She is 5 weeks old as of today and absolutely precious! Kudos Matt and Kate! She'll probably be twice as big when we get back.
My mom called this afternoon to tell us that the Washington Post had an article in the Travel section on non-other than Kazakhstan. What are the odds on that! Below is the link to the article. It also includes a slide show of pictures from the authors trip.

Congrads!!!! Please post as often as you can. We want to feel as if we are on the journey with you. Our prayers will be with you! We just finished our home study and should have it in our hands next week to submit to USCIS. Hopefully we will get to travel before the end of the year!
