Virginia Beach...Day 4 more beach

After a long day at Busch Gardens we had a lazy morning. Eventually we headed to the beach for a while. It was a bit breezy out which made for some great kite flying. Aunt Ro's stepson Michael went and got his kite and brought it down. He was kind enough to let Lukas help out. It was a very big kite and very powerful once it was up in the air.

Here is some video of Lukas and Michael flying the kite and taking Lukas for a ride.

Unfortunately for the bigger boys even with the wind the waves weren't much so they decided to skip the body boards. Skyer decided they should make something in the sand instead. With the help of Lukas' sand toys this is what they came up with. Photo taken by Lukas

Yes, it is a sand toilet, only teenagers, right?!

After dinner we decided to walk down to the Boardwalk and hang out for a while. Here is Lukas with Neptune on 31st Street.

While at the boardwalk we got Lukas a body board of his own. They had alot of great designs. Of course Lukas had to get the one that looked just like his best buddy Skyler's! We also added to our arsenal by getting another gun. Sean had gotten the same one at Busch Gardens the day before and it caused a bit of a problem. We figured if Lukas had one of his own he would leave Sean's alone so we let him get it.

We stopped for Ice Cream on the way back. It was down hill from there. The youngest member of the family with the most energy wanted to be carried. Daddy carried him for a short bit. When we got to the end of the boardwalk we made him walk. He continued to whine and cry that he couldn't walk. We are mean parents and forced him to walk 10 short blocks home. It was quite the site.
