Bittersweet Ending and New beginnings

Friday was Lukas' last day at his pre-school that he has been at for the last two years. We will be eternally greatful for everything they did to help prepare Lukas to start Kindergarten on schedule. We will also miss seeing them on a daily basis. Thank you to the Angelfish teachers, Ms. Grace, Ms. Melissa and Ms. Kyle, who started him on his way. Thank you to the Dolphin teachers, Ms. Barb, Ms. Jamie, and Mr. Ryan for getting him ready for the big kids school. And thanks for all the fun times at summer camp Ms. Ali, Mr. Rob and Ms. Nicole.

As we prepared to leave Lukas asked if he could give all his teachers, current and former, a hug. How could I say no. No tears from Lukas but lots from mommy and his teachers.

Monday Lukas will start at his new school that he will be attending after school and when public schools are closed. I hope they are ready for the Kazmanian Devil coming their way. We stopped in for a visit earlier in the week so he could familiarize himself with the school, staff and kids. After checking out the room and some slight hesitation he made himself right at home. I let him play for a while and then it was off to Karate class.
