It's been a busy day for Lukas. Morning at daycare, afternoon at school for Open House and now his first day of gymnastics this evening. When we arrived he was very anxious to get out on the equipment. It ends up that both of the girls in his Kindergarten class are also in his gymnastics class. Guess they are going to be spending quite a bit of time together. From the time class started until the end of class they had them moving. Perfect for Lukas who is like Tigger and can't stand still for to long. It was interesting to see what he already knew and how quickly he picked up on things he had never done before. Making a bridge...
Uneven bars...
Mounting the bar...
Cart wheels-Lukas has never done this before. Like the way she helped him do it and then he had to go back and do it by himself over again before moving on.
Follow the leader -like the way they run them around to get to the next area. Just what Lukas needs.
Bar exercise - Learning how to flip over and support himself with straight arms.
Looking forward to seeing how he progresses over the course of the class.
