Wednesday as I was leaving work I got the call that Lukas was not doing well and had been running a 102-103 temp. Since it was late afternoon and his fever was on the higher side we headed to the "Minute Clinic"...more like the 180 minute clinic! Lukas was a real trooper while we waited to be seen. He was checked for influenza and strep, both negative. Ended up he only had an ear infection. Thank goodness since his first birthday party is on Saturday.
So, mama and Lukas spent Thursday at home. You wouldn't have guessed he was sick. It was quite the challenge to follow doctor's orders and keep him quiet. One of Lukas' latest things to do is copy mama and papa when reading. He likes to wear papa's reading glasses but as you can see doesn't always get it right.
