Getting ready for Easter and the Easter Bunny

Lukas' school was closed today so I played hookie and stayed home with him. Since it has been two years in a row I am deeming it a new tradition in our household to dye Easter eggs on Good Friday. We added baking cookies to the festivities this year.

First we dye the eggs....

Then we bake the cookies...(we cheated and used pre-cut and decorated)

Then we use the leftover dough to make a special cookie for the Easter Bunny...









Then we place it in the oven...
