Making a gingerbread village

Ok, I'll admit I have used others children as an excuse to make gingerbread houses in the past. But now I have my own child to use as an excuse to make gingerbread houses. I figured it might be better to start off with some smaller houses so we made a gingerbread village together. I built the houses and Lukas and I together decorated them. He would start them and I would add the finishing touches.




Of course, since I had the camera out Lukas had to have his as well. He is still my resident photographer. He thought it was great fun to take pictures of me taking pictures.
