Today at Lukas' school was "Muffins with Mommy" day in celebration of Mother's Day. So I drove Lukas to school this morning. As we entered the building Ms. Valerie was finishing up setting up a table with juice and mini muffins (blueberry and chocolate chip). Bet you can't guess which one Lukas grabbed, yeah, chocolate chip. They also had a huge bucket of long stem roses and had the children pick one out for their mommy. Lukas picked a beautiful white one for me. We then headed back to his class room with our muffins and my rose and had breakfast together with one of his favorite girls in class, Sophie E.
When I picked him up after school he handed me 2 paper flowers he made and a heart with his hand prints on it. How sweet. What a nice way to start off Mother's Day weekend.
